In today’s business environment, presenting is a fact of life – it is a core business skill and we are expected to be good at it. For those of us who worry about presenting, this poses a huge problem: how do we learn to present and get good at it? No matter what your current level is, you can teach yourself to be a really good presenter, either virtually or in-person.

Participants will learn how to confidently deliver a presentation (virtually and in-person) with impact by:

  • learning a simple 3-step process for preparing a presentation
  • learning a very powerful 3-step process for delivering a presentation
  • becoming aware of the 3 things all great presenters do
  • knowing how to design PowerPoint slides for maximum impact and how to handle a Q&A session effectively.

Workshop Content

Participants identify the types of presentations they frequently have to deliver in the workplace and why these are important.

In a practical activity we identify the 10 qualities of a great presenter and explore the 3 things all great presenters do.

The workshop focuses on two key presenting techniques – the power of 3 and the power of simplicity.

Each participant is given a 3-step template for preparing a presentation and a 3-step template for delivering a presentation.

Two participants are asked to volunteer to deliver a three-minute presentation with coaching-in-the-moment from the facilitator.

“90% of the success of your presentation is determined before you stand up in front of your audience.”
