How To Organise Great Events

A well-organised event sends out a very powerful message about your business or organisation.

Whether it is organising a charity event, a community event, a conference or an exhibition, it is not dissimilar to running a small business in microcosm. It requires a high level of idea generation, planning and detailed management of a diverse range of aspects, utilising skills from sales and marketing through to project and financial management alongside logistical and health and safety delivery on the day.

This workshop will focus on approaches and ideas to use to deliver a memorable event that meets its intended outcomes.

In 90 minutes participants will learn how to run a well-organised event by:

  • understanding what makes a great event
  • being aware of the 3 factors that influence every event
  • learning the 4 W’s of highly successful events
  • planning the event – the nitty-gritty.

Face-to-Face Workshop Content

This workshop identifies what makes a great event along with the 3 factors that influence every event and the 4 W’s of highly successful events.

Participants are introduced to 3 strategic tools to help plan the event journey and given a checklist to help ensure the nitty-gritty aspects of the event are effectively addressed.

Each participant identifies his or her preferred management style when organising an event and the workshop also focuses on how to motivate your organising team.

“You events shine a light on your organisation.”
