How To Manage Stress
We live in a period of huge change. Whilst many of us see this as a time of confusion, anxiety and loss of control, others are thriving on the excitement, opportunity and growth it presents. The challenge for us all is not only to recognise that change is here to stay but that the pace of change is unlikely to slow down.
Such is the pace of change in the modern workplace that stress is an inevitable consequence. This workshop is designed to raise awareness of issues relating to stress in the workplace and how to manage stress in oneself and others.
In 90 minutes participants will learn how to recognise and deal with stress by:
- Fully understanding what stress is
- Being aware of the 10 causes of workplace stress
- Becoming aware of two techniques for managing stress
- Learning 10 strategies for reducing stress.
Face-to-Face Workshop Content
In this workshop participants complete a short profile titled How Well Do I Manage Stress?
The workshop explores what stress really is, the negative impact of stress and identifies the top 10 causes of workplace stress.
Participants are introduced to two techniques for managing stress and learn ten tips to help reduce stress in the workplace.
