How To Coach One-To-One

Coaching is the quickest and most effective method for developing staff. It is the key tool for managers and leaders who want to motivate and support their team and develop new skills and confidence to improve performance and manage change.

This workshop will help managers and leaders at every level understand what effective coaching is while at the same time learn key coaching techniques they can use in their everyday practice.

In 90 minutes participants will learn key coaching techniques to use in the workplace by:

  • The difference between teaching, mentoring, coaching and facilitating
  • Becoming aware of the 4 key skills for effective coaching
  • Becoming familiar with the GROW coaching model
  • Preparing for, and participating in a real coaching session.

Face-to-Face Workshop Content

In this workshop participants learn about the true purpose of coaching and the difference between coaching and mentoring.

The workshop focuses on the GROW coaching model and how to effectively use it in the workplace.

Participants are introduced to an example of a good coaching session and a not-so-good coaching session.

The workshop concludes with everyone participating in a coaching session.
