In the workplace today it is important to know how to effectively and constructively provide feedback to others without causing offence.
There are many opportunities at work to provide feedback on how a colleague has performed a task or how they have behaved in a given situation.
In 90 minutes participants will learn how to give effective feedback by:
- becoming aware of the 2 secrets for giving effective feedback
- knowing the one secret for receiving feedback
- understanding the power of affirmation
- learning a powerful technique for giving difficult feedback.
In this workshop we identify what feedback is and explore why many people shy away from giving feedback.
The workshop identifies the two secrets for giving effective feedback and the one secret for receiving feedback.
We look at the impact of praise in the workplace and participants take part in a very powerful activity to illustrate the power of affirmation.
The workshop concludes with each participant learning and practising a technique for giving difficult feedback.
“There is no such thing as failure, only feedback.”
Sir Winston Churchill
